Memphis, TN : 2-year-old boy injured after single-car accident on Riverside Drive on Sunday night, April 24, 2016

A 2-year-old boy was airlifted to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis on Sunday night after the car he was traveling in on Riverside Drive went off the road and hit a tree.

According to Tom Mapes, Madison County Sheriff's Office public information officer, Lisa Howard was driving her two grandsons on Riverside Drive when she lost control of her vehicle.

Howard and one of the children were sent to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Both are expected to make a full recovery. There is no update on the child who was airlifted to Memphis, according to Mapes.

Mapes said neither alcohol nor foul play is believed to have been a factor.
