ROBERTSON COUNTY, TN : 1 dead following multi-vehicle crash on I-65 on Tuesday, 18th April 2023

A multi-vehicle crash that left one person dead on the Robertson County and Sumner County line had traffic backed up several miles on Interstate 65 North Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.

Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) investigators said the crash involved four tractor-trailers and one pickup truck. It happened around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at mile marker 115.8 of I-65 North, which is between Exits 112 (Cross Plains) and 117 (Portland).

Robertson County EMS said at least one person was killed and multiple entrapments were involved in the crash.
