FROSTBURG, MD : Multiple injuries in crash near the 34-mile marker on Friday, 21st February, 2020

Interstate 68 at Frostburg remained closed late Friday as first responders worked at the scene of a vehicle crash.

The accident occurred just before 9 p.m. near the 34-mile marker.

At least six people were injured.

East lanes were briefly closed to allow Trooper 5, a Maryland State Police medevac helicopter, to evacuate a seriously injured patient.

Allegany County Department of Emergency Services personnel and volunteer fire departments from Allegany and Garrett counties were at the scene.
