Greenville,SC : Coroner identifies man killed in Greenville moped crash on May,Tuesday 29th 2018

The Greenville County Coroner's Office said officials were called to a deadly crash involving a moped on Tuesday.
Police said the crash occurred at Rutherford Street and West Stone Avenue. The Greenville Police Department's traffic reconstruction unit was on scene. Stone Avenue was closed from Rutherford to Wilton Street due to the investigation.
A fatality was confirmed by the coroner. He was identified as 50-year-old Roderick Alexander Alston. He suffered blunt force trauma injuries.
According to the coroner, Alton was traveling on West Stone when a green BMW sedan pulled out into the road. Alston was not wearing a helmet and struck the side of the vehicle, the coroner said.
