Falls Church man dies after motorcycle crash in Virginia

Police say a 20-year-old Falls Church man has died of injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash Sunday, Nov. 3 when an SUV made a left turn in front of him. Ibarra de la Cruz died at Inova Fairfax Hospital where was taken after the crash at Leesburg Pike and Patterson Road.Police investigating the crash said that Santos A. Perez, 24, of Falls Church, was driving his 1997 Ford Expedition east on Leesburg Pike when he turned left into the shopping center at Patterson Road, in front of de la Cruz. A woman and child in Perez’ vehicle were not injured.
