Indianapolis, IN : A Cromwell woman is dead after a fatal motorcycle crash on Sunday, September 17th 2017
A Cromwell woman is dead after a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday night.
The crash happened on U.S. 30 between County Roads 500 E and 600 E around 10 p.m., Indiana State Police said.
Investigators believe Micheal S. Miller, 40, of Cromwell, was riding the motorcycle west on U.S. 30 in the right lane and may have tried to change lanes, which were uneven because of road work, when the motorcycle crashed.
The passenger, Mari L. Miller, 43, of Cromwell, was thrown onto the road and hit by a passing car, the statement said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Micheal Miller was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center. It was unclear what his condition was this morning.
The westbound lanes of U.S. 30 were closed for several hours so investigators could reconstruct the crash.
