TOLEDO, OH : 74-year-old Toledo woman killed in crash on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

A 74-year-old Toledo woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening.

According to officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Sandra Ball was driving east on County Road B in Swanton when she failed to yield the right of way to a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado driven by John Hernandez, 45.

After striking Hernandez’s vehicle, Ball then hit a house on the northeast corner of the intersection.

Hernandez was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Ball was taken to the same hospital but was pronounced dead during the drive.
