Ron Wilson had a deft touch when it came to light, contrast, perspective and framing.
He found beauty in everything he photographed, from the salt marshes of the South Shore to the birch trees of Acadia National Park to the vast, grey skies of Scotland.
It’s no surprise the acclaimed East Bridgewater photographer applied that same skill to life, where he was remembered for always finding a way to frame life in a positive light.
“He was never discouraged,” his brother-in law, Tom St. Thomas, said Sunday. “And if something bad happened, he always found a way to make it OK.”
Wilson, 72, died Friday afternoon after a car accident on Route 195 in Seekonk. He was driving his Chevrolet Express van to an art show (as he did almost every weekend) when his vehicle rear-ended a tractor-trailer, his family said.
