Hickory, NC : Woman struck, killed by vehicle in Hickory on Wednesday morning, December 7, 2016

A woman was struck and killed in Hickory Wednesday morning.

Vione Mae Miller, 57, was trying to cross Hwy 70 near the 400 block when she was struck by a vehicle.

Miller was transported with serious injuries to Frye Regional Medical Center where she later died, according to Hickory Police.
