Douglasville, GA : 13-year-old boy died Wednesday afternoon after being ejected from a motorcycle on September 3rd 2014

The Georgia State Patrol says a 13-year-old boy riding a motorcycle was killed when it struck a curb and crashed in west Georgia. The wreck happened around 2:30 Wednesday in Douglas County, west of Atlanta. State Patrol spokeswoman Tracey Watson said Tre Lovell Shelton of Douglasville was driving a Honda cycle north on Yeager Road when it struck the curb and left the road, then hit a pole. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the motorcycle overturned and the boy was thrown off of it. He was taken to a hospital but did not survive.
