Belmond,IA : Man killed in traffic accident on June, Sunday 18th 2017
A Belmond man was killed Sunday in a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 69 near 150th Street in Hancock County, between Goodell and Klemme.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 31-year-old Nathan Wadsley of Belmond was riding his motorcycle north on Highway 69, while 33-year-old Shannon Gamble of Garner was traveling south. Gamble attempted to pass another vehicle and hit Wadsley head-on, killing him. Gamble was taken by helicopter to the hospital in Mason City.
A fund for the Nathan Wadsley family at Green Belt Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 324, Belmond. He is survived by his wife Shannon (a math teacher at Belmond-Klemme) and a young daughter.
