Palm beach Gardens ,FL : ne person killed and another critically injured after apparent police chase ended with car crash on Monda ,June

One person was killed and another injured after an apparent police chase ended with a car crash in Palm Beach Gardens.


According to a release by Palm Beach Gardens police, the car was seen speeding down Military Trail from PGA Boulevard around 11 p.m. Monday, traveling around 90 mph.

Police attempted to catch up with the car during a pursuit.
The car turned east on Kyoto Gardens, then north on Alternate A1A, running the red light at Kyoto Gardens and Alternate A1A.

Witnesses then reported seeing police chasing a car along Florida Boulevard.

Shortly after, the driver of the car lost control and crashed into a parked pick-up truck.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating the crash, confirmed Taylor Giese, 28, was killed on scene.

Kayle Claypoole, 18, is listed in critical condition St. Mary's Medical Center.
