Fort Worth, TX : Bryan woman killed in collision early Saturday, March 18, 2017
A Bryan woman was killed early Saturday after the car she was riding in collided with another car on Texas Avenue, police said.
According to Bryan police, officers responded to the 3800 block of South Texas Avenue at Garden Acres around 2:35 a.m. on the report of a major accident. Police say a Nissan Cube with four people inside was traveling northbound in the inside lane of South Texas Avenue. A Hyundai Sonata with two people inside was traveling southbound. Police say the Hyundai failed to stay in its lane and collided with the Nissan.
The four people in the Nissan were taken to CHI St. Joseph Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Hyundai was treated and released from CHI St. Joseph Hospital.
Victoria Danielle McGowan, 28, of Bryan, was a passenger in the Hyundai and pronounced dead at the scene.
