Orange County, FL : Motorcyclist killed in Orlando crash on Friday afternoon, June 3, 2016

A motorcyclist died as a result of injuries after a crash Friday afternoon in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It happened at Kaley Avenue and Bumby Avenue, officials said.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. The motorcyclist was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The FHP closed the intersection for the investigation.
