ALBUQUERQUE, NM : A hit-and-run accident in Santa Fe on Thursday, 7th June 2018

Santa Fe police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed one person and sent another to the hospital early Thursday morning. As of late Friday afternoon, police were still searching for the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident — a white pickup truck — who fled the scene.

A police spokesman said the accident occurred at the intersection of Airport and Country Club roads shortly after 12 a.m. Thursday and was still under investigation.

Social media posts indicate that the person that died and the one that went to the hospital with serious injuries were both men and likely related.
