Shelton, CT : Man died after a vehicle hit a tree in Shelton on Monday night, May 16, 2016

Police have identified the person who died Monday night after a vehicle hit a tree in Shelton.

Police Tuesday identified the deceased as 84-year-old Joseph Konner of Shelton.

Police said Tuesday morning the crash happened around 7:50 p.m. at 829 block of Bridgeport Ave.

The crash remains under investigation.
