WOONSOCKET, RI : Driver arrested after struck pedestrian in Woonsocket is hospitalized in critical condition on Thursday, 2nd November 2023

A 71-year-old Woonsocket man is in critical condition after being struck while crossing Diamond Hill Road Thursday night.

Woonsocket Police said 30-year-old Jared Travers was responsible for the serious hit and run.

The victim from the city was rushed to Landmark Medical Center, and later life flighted to Rhode Island Hospital with critical injuries.

The whole thing was caught on nearby surveillance.
