Terre Haute, IN : Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, October, 19th 2017

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at noon today at South Seventh and Oak streets.

Terre Haute Fire paramedics and firefighters extricated two people from a heavily damaged Jeep Grand Cherokee. They were loaded into ambulance and transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

The other vehicle involved -- a newer Nissan SUV crossover -- sustained heavy front end damage.

Terre Haute Police are investigating the crash. No other details were available for release at this time.
