Clark County, WA : Man struck and killed crossing Highway 99 in Hazel Dell on Saturday night, Nov 7, 2015

Officials say a man wearing dark clothing was struck and killed by a driver along Highway 99 in Hazel Dell Saturday night.

The crash was reported around 6 p.m. in the 8200 block of NE Highway 99. Deputies say despite efforts of Good Samaritans and first responders, the pedestrian died shortly after being struck.

The driver remained on scene.
