CHANNELVIEW, TX : Man dies after crashing into utility pole in Channelview on Wednesday, 13th March 2024

A man was killed after crashing his vehicle into a utility pole in Channelview Wednesday night, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

It happened on the East Freeway and Carey Lane.

According to the CenterPoint power outage tracker, there were more than 1,000 customers without power after the crash. Gonzalez said CenterPoint was advised of the crash.
