BRISTOL, IN : Bristol man suffers life-threatening injuries in motorcycle crash on Saturday, 13th July 2024

A 37-year-old Bristol man was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after police say he crashed his motorcycle on Saturday evening in Elkhart County.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 15 and County Road 112.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the man was heading north on State Road 15 in a 2015 Harley Davidson when it left the road, went into a ditch, crossed County Road 112, and hit a stop sign before coming to a rest in the northeast corner of the intersection.

The man was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with life-threatening head injuries. Police say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
