TICONIC, IA : A Siouxland man is dead after a single car crash on Saturday, December, 9th 2017

A Siouxland man is dead after a single car crash Saturday night.

Matthew Davis of Castana, Iowa, was driving northbound on County Road L20 near Ticonic, Iowa, when he lost control of the 2004 Chevy Trailblazer he was driving shortly before midnight and it rolled into a ditch, according to a report from the Iowa State Patrol.

The Trailblazer rolled multiple times and the 31-year-old was ejected from the vehicle. There were no other occupants in the car and passerby spotted the rural Monona County crash site and reported it to authorities..

The crash is still under further investigation.
