Fort Dodge, IA : Three injured in collision on US 169 on Sunday, March 12th 2017

Fort Dodge firefighters, Greg Nelson, left, and Eric Connel, work on scene after a two-vehicle collision involving a semitrailer at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and Iowa Highway 7 Sunday afternoon. Three people may have suffered minor injuries, according to April Murray, Webster County sheriff’s deputy. The crash was reported at 12:42 p.m. A semitrailer, driven by Joseph Ramirez, 28, of Texas, was traveling southbound when it struck an SUV, traveling eastbound, Murray reported. The driver of the SUV had the right of way, Murray said. Further details were not available Sunday. The Fort Dodge Police Department, Webster County sheriff’s deputies, Fort Dodge Fire Department, and UnityPoint Health Ambulance were on scene.
