Norfolk, VA : Man seriously injured in Chesapeake single-vehicle crash on Sunday September 18 2016.

A 48-year-old man was medevaced to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Sunday after a single-vehicle crash.

Detective Dorienne Boykin said the crash occurred around 6:35 p.m. when officers responded to the 300 block of Ballahack Road for a single-vehicle crash. A man had hit a utility pole and then a tree, he was the only person in the car.

The crash is under investigation.
