Memphis, TN : One man died in a single-car crash at Interstate 240 On Friday, July 15th, 2016

One man died in a crash on Corporate Avenue early Friday morning.

The crash happened near the intersection of Corporate Avenue and Dividend Drive. Corporate Avenue runs parallel to Interstate 240 near the Millbranch Road exit.

Corporate Avenue was shut down as police investigated the crash. Police said the man hit a tree and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Emergency crews shut down eastbound Interstate 240 near Millbranch Road for a few minutes, but reopened it shortly before 5:30 a.m.
