Middletown ,CT :Six adults injured after Coach bus Crash along I - 91 on Tuesday afternoon ,April 28 2015

A driver was cited and six juveniles reported minor injuries after a crash involving a coach bus on I-91 South in Middletown Tuesday afternoon, according to an accident report by Connecticut State Police.

At around 3:30 p.m., a Toyota Camry, driven by a 32-year-old Hamden man, passed the coach bus from the right side and began to lose control between exits 21 and 20.

The bus merged into the left lane and began to slow down when the Camry cut into the left lane where it was hit from behind by the bus, according to police.

All 37 juveniles and six adults on board the bus were transported to Middlesex Hospital for evaluation with six of the youth reporting minor injuries. The driver and passenger in the Camry were not hurt, police say.

The Camry driver was issued a citation for failure to maintain proper lane and operating a vehicle without a license.
