JACKSONVILLE, FL : No students hurt in crash involving police cruiser, school bus on Tuesday, March 14th 2017

A crash reported involving a school bus, a Jacksonville police cruiser and another car Tuesday afternoon has resulted in one minor injury.

The crash happened about 3:45 p.m. on West 45th Street at Avenue B. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said an officer responding to a call was hit in the intersection by a sedan. The cruiser swerved into the bus, then onto a sidewalk.

A Duval County schools spokeswoman said none of the 28 students from Carter G. Woodson Elementary School were hurt. Another bus was being sent to pick up the students and continue the route to their homes.

Police said the bus had cameras, and that video would be reviewed as part of the investigation.
