Aurora County, SD : Anjuli Kerlin, 20, died in a one-vehicle rollover near White Lake on Thursday afternoon, August 11, 2016

One of the two people who died in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Thursday afternoon near White Lake is a Sturgis woman.

A 1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet Convertible was westbound on Interstate 90 when the driver lost control near White Lake, about 45 miles west of Mitchell. The vehicle eventually entered the ditch where it rolled.

The female passenger, Anjuli Kerlin, 20, of Sturgis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Taylor Tolle, 22, of Minneapolis, died Friday at a Sioux Falls hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Other responding agencies were Aurora County Sheriff’s Office, White Lake EMS and South Dakota Department of Transportation.
