Two crashes in Trotwood this morning

Police are investigating whether two crashes that happened this morning in Trotwood are connected.

The crashes happened just a half mile apart just before 2 a.m. An SUV was found wrecked on Westbrook Road.

Then police found a utility pole broken in half on Freeport Drive, but no vehicle on the scene.

One person was taken into police custody.
