Beavercreek, OH : Motorcycle rider killed in midday collision on Monday, Nov 2, 2015

A motorcycle rider was killed when police say a car turned in front of him.

It happened around noon on Monday at the intersection of North Fairfield Road and Lantz Road.

The motorcyclist was traveling north on N. Fairfield Road when a car going south made a left turn onto Lantz Road. The motorcycle struck the car.

The motorcycle rider was taken to Soin Medical Center by ambulance where he was pronounced dead. His identity is not being released at this time.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

The accident is still under investigation.
