Fairfield,CT : Lanes reopen after crashes on Merritt, I-95 on August, Tuesday 15th 2017

A jackknifed tractor-trailer closed the right northbound lane of I-95 in Bridgeport for about two hours Tuesday morning.
The accident that happened before 5:30 a.m. caused delays up to more than a mile.
By 7 a.m., the truck was removed from the scene with three travel lanes open for traffic. Department of Transportation crews remained on the scene clearing debris and spills from the accident.
The crash was located between Exits 28 and 29 near the Stratford border.
Once the Bridgeport accident was cleared on I-95, there was another accident. This time it was southbound on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich.
