ROBERTSON COUNTY, TN : 1 killed in motorcycle crash in Robertson County on Highway 49 near Coopertown on Wednesday, 27th March 2019

At least one person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle in Robertson County Wednesday night.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 49 near Coopertown.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.

Sixty-three-year-old David Nicholson, of Pleasant View, was killed in the crash, according to the THP.

The other driver involved was extricated from the vehicle and is reportedly in stable condition.

Highway 49 was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.
