Jensen ,UT:17- Years old injured after she thrown 30 feet after she crashed ATV on Tuesday ,September 15th 2015

A 17-year-old girl is being treated for injuries after she was thrown 30 feet when she crashed an ATV.

The Uintah County Sheriff's Office is investigating after the girl lost control of the vehicle when she went around a school bus Tuesday in Jensen.

Cpl. Brian Fletcher says the ATV went off the road and the girl was thrown. Deputies believe speed was a factor in the crash. The girl was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The girl was taken to Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal.
