FRANKLIN, TN : A woman and two children were killed in a crash on Interstate 65 on Monday, October, 23rd 2017

A woman and two children were killed in a crash on Interstate 65 North on Monday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on the on-ramp of Interstate 840 from I-65 North. The vehicle overturned and caught fire.

The ramp onto I-840 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The victims have not yet been identified.
