Diboll, TX: Four people injured after 2-vehicle wreck in Diboll on Monday, August 3rd 2015

Emergency personnel are working a major two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 59 just north of the Diboll city limits that resulted in four people being taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.According to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at about 12:46 p.m. just north of Diboll on US 59.The preliminary accident report indicates that a 2004 SUV driven by Glynis Dionne Richardson, 40, of Humble, was headed south on US 59 when it had a blowout, causing it to swerve across the grassy median. The SUV struck a 2006 Chevrolet pickup driven by Diana Davis Hunter, 57, of Livingston, on the driver's side, and the impact caused the truck to slide off the road and roll over.Glynis Richardson and Torriante Leeshanai Richardson, her passenger were both taken to a Lufkin hospital. Diana Hunter and her passenger, Gary Alan Hunter were taken to a local hospital was well. No information was available on the crash victims' conditions."Traffic is moving slowly at this time while the scene is being cleared," the press release stated. "Motorists should use caution in this area."The crash remains under investigation at this time.
