ABERDEEN, SD : 25-year-old killed in morning crash near Aberdeen on Tuesday, 18th December 2018
A 25-year-old man died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, in a single-vehicle wreck just southeast of Aberdeen.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol has not yet released the identify the man, who was the only person involved in the crash, according to a news release.Tyler Fischer, 25, of Aberdeen died in a traffic accident Tuesday near town, according to a death notice from Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements.
A 2013 Honda Civic was headed south on 390th Avenue when the driver failed to negotiate the intersection at 135th Street, according to the release. That's about a mile southeast of Aberdeen near the southwest corner of airport property. The vehicle went into the west ditch and rolled multiple times.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
