ELKLAND, MO : A man from Elkland died in a one-car crash in Dallas County on Sunday, August 13, 2017

A man from Elkland died in a one-car crash in Dallas County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Buster Edwards, 31, was driving west on Missouri Highway 38 north of Elkland when he missed a curve, and his car ran off the road, hit a tree, drove through a fence and caught fire after it came to rest in a field.

Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.
