Berkeley, CA : Bicyclist killed in collision with vehicle on Sacramento Street at Ada Street on Wednesday morning, February 8, 2017

A bicyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a collision with a vehicle, police said.

Police did not say immediately if the bicyclist was a man or woman and did not give an age for the victim. The collision happened about 7:07 a.m. on Sacramento Street at Ada Street.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.

Streets in the area remained shut while police conducted their investigation.

No other details were released.
