A 30-year-old woman died after the car she was driving crashed into a tree Friday morning in Bucks County, police said.
The accident occurred about 6:20 a.m. on Callowhill Road east of West Creamery Road in Hilltown Township. The woman was driving westbound in a 2009 Toyota RAV4 when the vehicle veered across the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree.
The woman, a Perkasie resident whose name was not released, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, where she later died. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
