One person killed in crash near Wilsonville Oregon

A deadly crash involving two commercial trucks and a passenger vehicle blocked all three southbound lanes of traffic on Interstate 5 near Wilsonville for several hours Monday night.Police and firefighters responded to the scene around 5 p.m. The passenger vehicle was lodged underneath one of the commercial trucks in the right-hand lane on I-5, according to Oregon State Police.

Officers say the man driving the car died at the scene. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with an unknown injury.Rush-hour traffic used the inside southbound shoulder to pass the crash scene, police said. The southbound off-ramp to Donald/Aurora was also closed.
