Amarilo , TX : Two People Injured in head on collision after he crossed the median into oncoming traffic at Amarillo Boulevard on Wednesday , February 18th 2015

A head on collision in Amarillo has sent two people to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded to the incident around 10:00 Wednesday morning at Amarillo Boulevard West and North Lipscomb.

They discovered Khorshed Khoshan of Amarillo had been traveling east on Amarillo Boulevard when he crossed the median into oncoming traffic.

Police say Khoshan struck a suburban driven by Teri Sibley of Fritch.

Investigators say speed was a factor and the current condition of the drivers are unknown at this time.
