Travis County, TX : Motorcyclist dead, driver of car arrested in alleged DWI crash on Congress Avenue and 4th Street in Austin on Sunday morning, Aug 9, 2015

A motorcyclist is dead and another driver is in jail after a crash in downtown Austin Sunday morning.

Police say around 1:30 a.m. the driver of a white sedan was trying to make a left off of Congress Ave. onto 4th St. when he hit the motorcyclist.

Vehicular Homicide Detectives were called out and arrested the driver for possible intoxication charges.

The names of the victim and the suspect have not been released.
