ATHENS, IL : Fatal crash reroutes NB traffic on IL 29 at Athens on Sunday, 13th October 2024

A fatal crash has rerouted traffic on Illinois Route 29 just outside Athens.

The crash happened at the the intersection of IL 29 at E. Hargrave Street.

Illinois State Police said northbound traffic on IL 29 has been rerouted through Athens. Drivers should take care and avoid the area if possible.
