Albany, OR : 32-year-old man is suspected of being under the influence of drugs when he crashed head-on into a car on Highway 20 on Thursday August 21st 2014

The Benton County sheriff's office says a 32-year-old Corvallis man is suspected of being under the influence of drugs when he crashed head-on into a car on Highway 20 at Albany.

The crash Thursday killed a 37-year-old Eugene man, Gabriel Ruiz Lopez.

The Corvallis man was arrested on charges of manslaughter, reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs.
