Harrisburg, PA : 4 Kouts students, 2 teachers injured in Pennsylvania Turnpike crash on Tuesday, 16th October 2018

Four seniors from Kouts High School and two teachers serving as chaperones on a trip to Washington, D.C. were injured late Tuesday when the charter bus they were in on their return trip was struck head-on by another vehicle traveling the wrong way on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The students and chaperones were treated at a local hospital and released, Principal Tom Stoner said Thursday.

"They had some bumps and bruises and stiff, sore kids but all 45 (students) who went came back as well," he said.
