Pittsburgh, PA :5 teens hurt, 1 runs away after vehicle crash ends chase on Monday, June 29th 2015

Pittsburgh police say one teen has been critically injured and four others hurt in a crash that ended a brief chase by Pittsburgh police.Police began pursuing the car about 4:20 a.m. Monday after an officer saw it being driven without headlights.Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler says one boy ran from the scene after the car crashed.
The 16-year-old driver was pinned by the crushed dashboard and was taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in critical condition.Four other teens were taken to other hospitals with lesser injuries, including a broken leg, broken ribs and a spinal injury.Police say the teen driving the car didn't own it, but police have stopped short of saying whether the vehicle was stolen.None of the teens, aged 13 to 16, was wearing a seatbelt.
