WILLOW SPRINGS, MO : 13-year-old killed in an ATV crash near Willow Springs, Mo. on Wednesday, 15th May 2024

A 13-year-old boy from Winona has died from his injuries after an ATV crash Sunday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the ATV overturned as the 9-year-old driver attempted to make a left turn.

The ATV landed on top of the 13-year-old. He was flown to a Springfield hospital where he died from his injuries Tuesday night.

The crash happened on private property off of Railroad Drive south of Willow Springs.

This is Troop G’s fourth fatality of 2024 compared to 11 the same time a year ago.
