Bainbridge Island, WA : Bainbridge woman hurt in Highway 305 crash on Sunday, 16th October 2016

Two people were injured, including a Bainbridge Island woman, in a two-car collision late Sunday on Highway 305 near Poulsbo.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the Bainbridge woman, 43, was a passenger in a 2007 Saturn driven by a 48-year-old Bainbridge man when he pulled out in front of a 2015 Ford Fusion heading north on Highway 305 and was struck by the Ford.
The driver of the Ford, a 77-year-old woman from Neah Bay, was also hurt in the crash. She was transported by an aid car to Harrison Medical Center-Bremerton.
The Bainbridge woman was also taken to the hospital in Bremerton for treatment.
The State Patrol said the collision happened just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16 near Sandy Hook Road about two miles south of Poulsbo.
The Bainbridge driver was pulling out of a driveway onto Highway 305 and didn’t see the other driver, according to the State Patrol. Both vehicles collided in the northbound lane.
The Bainbridge man was cited for failure to yield. He was not hurt in the crash.
Both the Saturn and the Ford were towed away by Kitsap Towing.
