Hutchinson, KS : One injured in motorcycle wreck with SUV on Thursday, August 3, 2017

Troy Watts was taken to the hospital Thursday after his Yamaha motorcycle collided into the side of an Acura SUV, the Hutchinson Police Department stated.

Watts was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center following the wreck around 1 p.m. near the intersection at 24th Avenue and Westminister Street, Sgt. Brian Hirt said.

The SUV, driven by 51-year-old Cathy Nisly, was headed eastbound on 24th Avenue and the motorcycle was headed south on Westminister Drive, Hirt said.

Watts, 59, was cited for failure to yield. He was in “good condition,” according to hospital staff.
