Sarasota, FL : A two-car collision on Saturday, July 29, 2017

Francis Pawlowski, 82, of Venice was in critical condition and Jordan Gignilliat, 19, of North Port in serious condition, the FHP reported.
According to the FHP release, Pawlowski was driving a 2005 Hyundai Elantra west on Briarwood, turned right onto Coconut and then attempted to make a U-turn to head east on Briarwood when his vehicle entered the path of a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox being driven by Gignilliat. The driver’s side of the Elantra was struck by the front end of the Equinox, and Pawlowski was transported by Bay Flight to SMH.
